Bye Bye Symbian: Samsung and Sony Ericsson Have Bigger Fish to Fry [Symbian]

Symbian's so unpopular, even Nokia's said they're going to leave it for their cheap phones and pursue MeeGo for the N-Series. Samsung's closing shop on Symbian, ceasing support at the end of the year. And Sony Ericsson? They didn't say never, but their spokesman Aldo Liguori sounds pretty final when he told BusinessWeek that "we have no plans for the time being to develop any new products to the Symbian Foundation standard or operating system."
